The purpose of this Directory is to help colleagues collaborate and network with professionals, advocates and researchers with expertise on tobacco control at the state level. At the Indiana Latino Institute, Inc.'s offices, NLTCN has a Resource Center with materials including promising practices in cessation, information on launching smoke-free soccer leagues ("PATA Contra el Tabaco"), mobilizing faith communities and youth advocacy, bilingual curricula on Latino Health advocacy, and brochures. The Tobacco Education and Materials Lab (TEAM Lab) at the University of Southern California has a clearinghouse of curricula and toolkits on topics such as Clean Indoor Air (CIA), countering the tobacco industry (i.e. through sponsorships and cultural events), capacity building, utilizing community health workers, and building state-based comprehensive programs.
