Tobacco Cessation for Community Work Force Development Settings
Description: This tobacco cessation curriculum is specifically designed to be implemented in programs such as Job Corps and Conservation Corps to reach 18-26 year olds. The curriculum is composed of four modules. Modules One and Two are designed to educate individuals on the health effects of tobacco use. Modules Three and Four provide strategies on quitting. The curriculum incorporates images and activities designed to resonate with young adults and includes a participant workbook. The curriculum contains instructions for facilitators, reproducible handouts and a resource section. The curriculum packet includes a facilitator manual, CD-ROM (with PowerPoint presentations), handouts, and pre/post tests.
